It is becoming increasingly clear that protesting is having little effect of late while we cannot let this deter us we need to take up a new stance! We have been fighting the corrupted on their turf where they have advantage and supremacy. We need to shift focus and do something radical! Now I can hear some of you say yeah we need to riot, bash windows ect and I say absolutely not! -Because that is what they expect and are prepared for. What we need to do is a grand scale retreat or let’s say purge them from our universe! How you say? -By becoming Autonomous, self sustaining and as independent as possible of their dealings.
1-Those of us who have Money could buy land and offer to share it with people who want to help them build self sustaining Microcommunities.
2-Those who do not want to share their land could at least teach those who want to learn how to be off grid and self-reliant how to do so and maybe share their produce overage with the less fortunate.
3- Those who have businesses could start offering a barter and trading system next to the conventional money system.
Becoming self reliant, growing your own food is no longer limited to rural landscapes and the country- New technology such as Hydro and Aquaponics, window and roof gardens make it not only possible but affordable if people are just taught how to do it. People could band together and buy up abandoned buildings in the city and create alternative living space.
Talent, produce, homemade products, time and even project based work could be bartered and traded, expanding the concept of time banks. Parents should band together and open alternative free schools for their children because we do not want the next generation to be poisoned by today’s society’s values!
We need to start building our own wireless networks that we can eventually interconnect – why? Because as much as we all love the internet let us not forget who built it and we need a second option!
We need to build our own radio and TV stations and those of us who are creative a truly alternative Music, art and Movie culture far away from the copywrite Nazi’s and the money mongers.
All these projects could network and share resources ideas and inventions all of it outside of the corporate, political power nexus …
will this be easy – Absolutely not! Not only will we receive pushback by those we oppose, but probably horrendous squabbling and drama within our own ranks – however if we prevail and evolve though the process we can in time create a sound counter culture that can transition us into true autonomy one step at the time.
The dissatisfaction with our current society Model is no longer just limited to a few hippies, communists, anarchists and moochers…it is global and wide spread phenomenon.
If those with similar goals and mind set build enclaves to their liking and start working with similarly inclined or likeminded groups or projects we actually have a chance of creating real change!
We are no longer just a few thousands we are effectively millions! Millions of lab rats that can cause a big chink in the cooperate-political armour if we decide to step off the hamster wheel; fact is without us they are nothing without our purchasing power they will dwindle and die out. I am not saying become unwashed hermits, I am saying become as autonomous as possible and reclaim your freedom!
